Your Golf Tour Officially Has a Release Date
The wait for Your Golf Tour is nearly over. In his weekly newsletter The Bryan Brief, George Bryan confirmed that the first episode will drop at the end of June, giving fans a clearer timeline for one of the most anticipated events in the YouTube golf calendar.
For those who missed the full reveal, YGT is a Grant Horvat and Bryan Bros-led tournament featuring 16 of the best golfers in the creator space competing across four events for a prize pool that includes $1 million on the line at the final event alone. The four captains – Grant, George Bryan, Wesley Bryan, and Brad Dalke – will each lead a team through three preliminary events before the tour concludes at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas.
When Does Each Episode Drop?
An exact date wasn’t given, but it was near enough to it. The end of June is the confirmed window, with the upload schedule set to follow a Monday-Thursday-Monday pattern - the 29th of June is a Monday, so presumably the first episode will drop then, and if not a week earlier. Each episode will land on a different channel in the following order:
Monday – Grant Horvat's channel
Thursday – Bryan Bros Golf channel
Monday – The Your Golf Tour channel
That three-upload structure mirrors the format of the events themselves, with Round One on Grant's channel, Round Two on the Bryan Bros channel, and the final round — where two teams are cut and the remaining two compete for the top prize — on the YGT channel.
What Are We Actually Watching?
For those yet to catch up on the full details, here's a quick refresher. Each of the first three events is a team competition, with captains drafting their teams on Draft Night at Pursell Farms in Alabama – the venue for Event 1 – immediately before play begins.
Round One is expected to be a scramble format across nine holes. Round Two introduces the wildcard element, with each captain benching one player and bringing in a wildcard of their choosing for an alternate shot format. The two lowest-ranked teams are then cut, leaving two to play out a series of 1v1 matchups for the event prize.
Each of the first three events has $500,000 on the line, split across the four teams. The fourth and final event at the Wynn is an individual competition, with the format still to be confirmed and $1 million in prize money available.
The four venues across the tour are Pursell Farms in Alabama, Teeth of the Dog in the Dominican Republic, Cutalong at Tributer Resort in Virginia, and Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas.
Where to Watch Your Golf Tour
Given the multi-channel upload schedule, keeping across all three channels – Grant Horvat, Bryan Bros Golf, and Your Golf Tour – is the simplest way to make sure nothing is missed.
It’s been a big week in YouTube golf following the drip-fed announcement of the Internet Invitational roster, but while that tournament is still months away, the wait for YGT isn’t nearly as long. Following months of build-up since the concept was first announced, and weeks since the players revealed when the event was actually going to be played, Your Golf Tour is just weeks away from finally hitting our screens.
“Couple of y’all have asked when YGT actually drops and where to find it. Here’s the rundown. Release date: end of June. Upload schedule: Monday, Thursday, Monday. Grant Horvat first, then Bryan Bros, then the YGT channel. Multiple drops, multiple channels. Y’all won’t miss it.”
