Brad Dalke Announces Departure From Good Good

Brad Dalke has announced he is leaving Good Good Golf, citing a difficult eight months during which his wife Abbie has battled a series of serious health issues. The news came via a video posted on Thursday, with Dalke talking for close to 20 minutes about the decision.

Dalke and Abbie married in June 2025 and had hoped to start a family quickly, but the months that followed brought a string of setbacks. As Dalke explained in the video, the couple suffered two miscarriages, before the day after the second, Abbie temporarily lost her vision in both eyes – an event later diagnosed as an eye occlusion. Further investigation then revealed she had a patent foramen ovale, a hole in the heart, which required surgery – all this at just 28 years old. The surgery has since gone well and Abbie is reported to be recovering strongly, with Dalke noting most of the worst-case scenarios are now behind them.

Throughout the ordeal, Dalke has continued to fulfil his various golf-related obligations – obviously largely to Good Good, but also more recently to Your Golf Tour. Those obligations have evidently required a lot of travel during a difficult period, and understandably, that appears to have taken its toll.

"I'm just tired of not being here," he said in the video. "I just feel like I didn't live up to par when it comes to being a husband for Abbie during this whole process, and that kills me inside." The sentiment was a recurring one across the video.

As for what's next, Dalke isn't closing the door on anything — except putting golf ahead of family. "I don't know exactly what the future will hold for me," he said. "I do know it will involve golf because golf is obviously something I'm very passionate about. But there is one thing I do know, and that is golf, my job, anything in life — it will never come before family." One confirmed commitment is the BMW International Open in early July, which Abbie will attend — her first time watching him compete in a professional tournament – while he’s also set to return to the PGA Tour later in the month for the Rocket Classic.

While Dalke announced his departure from Good Good, it remains to be seen whether he continues to play in Your Golf Tour throughout its inaugural season. He had been named as one of four team captains for the pioneering tour and we know he will be present in the first event, which has already been filmed and for which the first episode drops next week. Whether he continues in the final three events remains to be seen, though perhaps the departure from Good Good will enable him to fulfil that role. Interestingly, the Bryan Bros teased a ‘Massive YGT announcement today’ on Thursday before pushing it to Friday, though whether that's connected remains unclear.

Dalke has been one of Good Good’s most recognisable faces since joining three years ago, and his absence will change the dynamics specifically on the Good Good Pros channel, on which he has shared a major role with Sean Walsh. With YGT and a couple of professional events on the horizon, however, Dalke will not be disappearing entirely from the public eye, but no one could begrudge him taking this step back.
