Your Golf Tour vs Internet Invitational: By the Numbers
When the Internet Invitational was released in October 2025, it put bums on couches like no other YouTube golf event ever had. The coming together of personalities from all corners of the internet was like the golf equivalent of a crossover episode of a sitcom – a guy called the Duke rubbing shoulders with Paige Spiranac? Luke Kwon getting screamed at by Jon Gruden? What sort of parallel universe were we living in?
A few months later, some of YouTube golf’s biggest names in the Bryan Bros and Grant Horvat announced not just their own tournament, but their own tour, consisting of 16 different players and four different events. Essentially, a more serious and extended version of the Internet Invitational with better golfers. The gauntlet had been thrown down.
And while there’s plenty of room in the YouTube golf world for multiple popular events, the Bryan Bros and Grant Horvat remain very notable absentees from the ever-growing list of 2026 Internet Invitational participants. Coincidence? You wouldn’t think so.
All three of them played last year, Grant has nearly 1.8 million subscribers and the Bryan Bros are pushing a million. They are among the biggest names in the business. There is still time for them to receive an invite and maybe the lack of any announcement is some sort of marketing tactic, but it feels increasingly likely that it’s directly related to their development of Your Golf Tour.
Which of course leaves us with no choice but to pit the two events in direct competition with one another. What do the masses like more? The frivolous nature of the Internet Invitational, with run-of-the-mill golfers sculling million-dollar shots across the green (looking at you Frankie Borrelli), or the more legitimate golf tournament style of Your Golf Tour?
There are obviously some imperfections with the comparison, namely that the Internet Invitational has been out for close to a year compared to around a month for YGT, but the bulk of the viewing numbers seem to come soon after release regardless, so we can still work with what we’ve got. The Internet Invitational also has twice as many episodes, but again, we push on.
So without further ado, here are the numbers as they stand.
Your Golf Tour vs Internet Invitational: Total Views
As you can see, the first episode of the Internet Invitational sits way out on top in terms of total views with a whopping 8.6 million, over 50% more than what YGT’s first episode currently sits at. But the gap is a lot smaller when it comes to viewing numbers after a week and a month.
The total views gap also closes with each successive episode, and by Episode 3 YGT actually hits the front. Of course, this is where the imperfections come in – that was the final episode of that tournament which naturally gives it a bit of a boost. The same happened for Episode 6 of the Internet Invitational, but we’ve obviously got nothing to compare that to given YGT has just three episodes.
So there you have it – the comparison that no one asked for between the two crowning events of YouTube golf. Your Golf Tour will likely continue to track down the Internet Invitational in total views as time goes on given it’s only been out for a month, but whether it ever reaches the lofty heights set by its predecessor remains to be seen.
There’s plenty more to come for both events too, with each of them set to dominate YouTube golf headlines over the next few months. The next Your Golf Tour tournament is set for release sometime later in August, while for the Internet Invitational, the field is progressively getting set and we’re presumably looking at a release around October/November, as we did last year. And with the first incarnation of the Internet Invitational having clocked in at around 16 hours and YGT just under 15, there’ll be a lot of couches getting a good workout over the coming months.
